Throughout the third quarter of 2023, the top carpooling and ridesharing apps on Android in Mexico demonstrated diverse performance trends in terms of weekly downloads and active users, according to Sensor Tower data.

DiDi Rider: Affordable rides consistently led the charts with its weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 158K in mid-August. Active users for the app also showed a positive trend, increasing from around 4M at the start of the quarter to about 4.6M in mid-September.

Uber - Request a ride maintained steady weekly downloads, reaching up to 117K in the second week of September. The active user base exhibited growth, rising from 4M in late June to 4.4M by mid-September.

inDrive. Save on city rides experienced fluctuations in weekly downloads, peaking at nearly 99K in the second week of September. Active users showed a slight decrease initially but recovered to approximately 2.1M by early September.

Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver saw a moderate increase in weekly downloads, peaking at around 65K in mid-July. The app's active user base remained relatively stable, averaging around 420K throughout the quarter.

Finally, DiDi Driver: Drive & Earn Cash demonstrated a notable rise in weekly downloads, reaching up to 42K by the end of September. Active users for the app grew steadily from 260K at the beginning of the quarter to approximately 278K by the end of September.
